Yup.
I’m used to “here’s a cool thing that might become great/popular one day” - but 3D Printing has been around for years now, and I still can’t see the point of it.
Now I know I’m being grumpy, this bike looks striking and all - but the fact it was 3D printed (over maybe being cast in a sand-mold) - why would I care.

You got any vacancies at Unicorn-corp?

Which is excellent - as I’m starting to lose my rag with the big-screen stuff.
Loved the Batman trilogy. Liked the “straight conversions” (maybe unpopular I know) like V for Vendetta and Watchmen.
The sprawling Marvel franchise is just getting on my wick. Think it culminated with Age of Ultron, where I found myself

Nor has he had his hands on a Pixel, which is possibly the best laptop I’ve ever seen (only spoilt by being hobbled with ChromeOS).
I’m still not convinced by “stuff replacing PCs” - I’m typing this on a great big desktop monster.
However, I’m slowly being won over... I’ve got my android phone, my shield tablet and

You don’t work in IT, do you?

I hope the game’s good - but I’m not too bothered.
What I loved about that was the sense that it was made by people who cared about it. It wasn’t cranked out by “resources” - people made it, people who cared, people who went through hell and succeeded in getting it out there.
Congratulations and hope you all get some

That sir, is genius.
As it is, seems a bit flakey as you’ve got to remember to put the pieces away in their correct places (after mentally reversing the layout) and stick the board back the right way around as well... which seems more faff than just putting the pieces out yourself at the start of the game.

That is possible the most pointless use of a ring-of-fire ever.
“i’ll juggle chainsaws WEARING A RED T-SHIRT!!”

“It’s then pounded out”

I think it was horribly written.
Took me a couple of run-throughs.

I think “low-balled” is unfair.
They set a target at which point it was viable for them to produce the game. They hit it, it became viable, and further backers signed up feeling confident they’d get it.

That’s what they’re paying to be allowed to stream them.
As I read it:

Nope.
My mind was pretty much reading it as “(e-)ffluence”
Either way though, they really should be punching their brand consultants unconscious.
I can only think they were trying to conjure images of (a-)ffluence - which just makes me want to hate them even more.

Bluetooth isn’t a replacement for wires.
This thing supports wires - and then adds that handy, natty bluetooth thing for those people that insist they want to play music off their phone.

That really is very very pretty (and I think more from a DOP POV (or whatever you call that in games) rather than the raw processing)..
Except “the collar” - htf was that considered realistic? Looks like he’s got a spring loaded flap on half of his shirt (whilst the other side is glued to his flesh).

It’s strangely out of print but “Made in Japan: Akio Morita and Sony” is a fascinating book.
Akio tells the story of setting up the company with practically nothing post-war, through to the monster it became (and ends before it all started to go a bit wrong).
As a bonus, you also get glimpses into Japanese culture and

I think you’re all showing your age here.
The “whine of an electric motor” might not fit in with what *you* consider to be sound of speed. I’m with you. I’m old. Personally I’d like all fast cars to come with an airbrushed portrait of Kelly LeBrock in a fur bikini.
However, I do feel we have to accept the fact that

*nods*
I think “journeyman” is a bit unfair.
Suspect he doesn’t get offered the AAA film roles, but is good enough to get offered enough B movies that he can (and bothers) to pick out the good ones - and commits.
Maybe in these days of the internet it’s easier to pick the good output from the bad, but in the days of

Did have the impression of “being expensive to make” (at least initially though).
I semi-loved it.

All we need to do is grow Ivory in a lab, and flood the market with the stuff.
