This is the stuff that makes me feel old.
Who are the people buying these Go-Pros to share their extreme-antics, it’s definitely not me?
I can understand phone cameras at the low-end, and silly-expensive high-res/high frame-rate at the other...
Oh I guess I just need to lump them in with Twitter users, as seemingly a

I’m somewhat bemused with my latest nVidia update bringing Vulkan and the admittedly last-gen AAA supported, wtf it’s not there already.

Way too early to judge.
Vive seems to be *slightly* better hardware wise, but my concern is that it’s geared around having space to walk about, whereas Oculus is more geared around sitting at your desk (I don’t have the space).
Bluntly though, there’s nothing out there to differentiate them - I’d have thought maybe the

erm indeed.
Clever that it’s been done, but result isn’t nice (or really ‘wood’).
Can’t imagine it would have been too hard to stick a lump of mahogany (or your wood of choice) through a CNC router for a much nicer effect (wood-grain for example).

Bluntly streaming is fine for some games - but ruins others.
I’ve not tried the PS4 functionality, but have dabbled with nVidia’s PC->Shield (which should notionally offer better quality due to PC’s higher compression grunt).
It works, it’s impressive, but it’s not going to make you ignore where the game is actually

With you on this.
Tools all have their uses, but drill does what I need good enough, so I got one. Driver would be better for some things I’m sure, but...
From my POV, I’ve got the drill, so I’ve no interest in drill & driver sets. Maybe a driver & something else? Or a something else and a something else?
Or maybe just

Not disagreeing, but I really liked his take on Watchmen.
He took the comic, as it was, and put it on a cinema screen - although I know I’m maybe in the minority in holding this viewpoint

Plus if the tank and control trailer have to be in close proximity - you’ve taken the people previously protected within the tank and put them in a less-protective trailer. Each hit on those, and you’ve got two dumb tanks sitting there to be plundered.

I’m not entirely convinced to this day, Nintendo has an f’in clue about “this internet thing”.
They used to simply ignore it and leave Sony to mess up, whilst MS excelled - but then they jumped in..and it wasn’t pretty.
I have a spot in my heart for Nintendo that will never be taken - but can’t help but feel it’s a spot

Actually, I’m slightly concerned for both Oculus and Vive.
Sony headset is going to romp in as the winner in sales, and provide the VR benchmark.
Oculus whilst opening up the market to VR, seems slightly lost as to what their point is (controllers coming later isn’t too great when they were first in, and have facebook

wtf?
Surely the argument is completely the converse. If an original Xbox generation game can be modded to play on a modern PC, then this indicates the ability of a single game to spam massively disparate platforms with simply per-client-side tweaking.
As the consoles bluntly “align” with PC hardware, which has always

Actually, that’s precisely the point I was stumbling to make.
Whoever you are, you can present yourself anyway you want - and that’s fine. Topless-lesbo-fest-twitch is your choice and for that choice I’m sure you’ll rake in the cash.
However, should you wish to merely play a game in a non-sexualized way, that’s also

I think it cuts the other way - how many “studly, chiseled and scantily-clad male twitch streamers” that put themselves though “40 minutes of pre-stream makeup” are watched?

Not entirely sure it’s a coherent/valid point, but I’ll wade in anyway.
I’m a straight male who like games and bluntly cleavage.
I will watch both

The “play it forward” idea is bollocks.
e.g. *If* you’re standing in line at starbucks, you’ve got the cash to buy a starbucks - it’s an f’in coffee.
Person at the front is a coffee down, guy at the end is a coffee-up.
It’s a cup of coffee.
Why I like the idea on reddit is that there’re people there who “like the idea of

Starbucks line is a bad example - SV is a great one.
There’ve been a few games I’ve loved to bits and reasonably priced - and I want people to play it so much. I know they’d love it - it’s that feeling when you’ve managed to buy the perfect present for somebody, rather than a present as you felt obligated.
More

As a counter - I like the fact a game is now just something on my desk to click.
As an aged PC-person, I can remember the ever-increasingly large boxes, stuffed with manuals, maps and all the rest - don’t mourn console games, they never had this (OK, my zelda fold-out-map aside).
I embrace the fact that an indie dev can

Agree with Anker, but I’d go with the the “Anker PowerCore+ 13400"

Black’s one of those games that I “remember playing”.
Not going to bang on about it, but first time I felt part of the world, rather than a character walking through some scenery.

I’m currently quite excited by the prospect of Dangerous Golf, brought to you by those that gave you Burnout and Black.

There’s a giant D20 in the cloud
