I don’t think that would have any impact whatsoever on her ability to file/win a lawsuit if she wanted. Any reasonably competent lawyer would be easily able to argue that she was saying it in a state of shock and might have felt differently once the adrenaline wore off.
High school cross country practice in 1993 we were crossing a road between a line of cars stopped at a light. One kid stepped out and got sideswiped by a car passing the line to get up to the left turn lane. Spun him around and laid him out. He then ran the rest of the practice with us. Next day was in a cast up to…
Oldie but goodie.. NSFW language.
I can confirm, I’ve known Tim for years and he is one of the nicest of folks you will ever meet.
I stub my toe and yell out all kinds of curse words. She got hit by a car and made zero FCC violations. Sincerely impressive.
And they used to bash holes in skulls for headaches for hundreds of years too.

You can possibly order such a car for delivery sometime in the future but chevy.com shows FIFTEEN ‘21/’22 Sparks for sale in the entire country. If you want a Spark now (I don’t judge) the cheapest one on AutoTrader within 25 miles of me is a ‘14 with 98k and a $11,990 ask. EDIT: Which I now see is 1/2 the price of…

No it isn’t, and the natural order of things isn’t exactly what humans are looking for considering our affinity for cooked foods and manufactured goods that don’t appear in nature. Capitalism is a bastardization of the competition drive we have, it’s certainly not how nature works though.
I bought a new car in January 2020. In March, I felt a little silly because we stopped commuting to the city and the old oil-burning Scion could have held out another year. I feel much less silly now.
A bit of a weird article, but still correct on the notion that no good business charges the “value” of a good based on the costs to make it. The goal is to get as much as possible out what is being sold. If you can convince enough people that Gucci is 50x better than Hanes, you can charge 50x more.
If you don’t want to pay the price, don’t shop at Platinum Pre-Owned. Shop at Cast Iron Used. I’m sick of hearing people demanding premium and then complaining about the price!
Looks like a dealer who specializes in subprime financing. This is nothing new. Even before the prices went crazy, subprime guys like this would list these cars for far over market value. Why? So they could try to hide the bank fee they pay to get low credit loans financed in the payment for the car.
Point taken. But I am not buying a new or used car anytime soon. If this keeps up my fleet will be looking like they are from Havana.
Top 5 worst comparisons of all time.
Maybe this is some kind of money laundering operation?
