I like the way you ended that story
Good take. I had one as well. It is an excellent roadster. My biggest problem is that I’m almost 6'3" and it felt perfectly proportioned for the 5'7'” population (my wife loved it).
tl/dr: Sue sues over 275k dream auto, now forced to take the bus...brah.
cool read
The record for us until recent years was a new 2014 Honda Odyssey for 32k . But this raises an interesting point: I felt far more financially nervous with a used, low mile Evora S, than the new 4Runner. Both cost about the same upfront to acquire (low 50k range; the 4R is optioned out), but one had the potential to…
“What are you looking at, butthead!”
I know you’re a solid enthusiast. I’ve read your comments here for years and agree with a lot you have to say. Just not in this case. I understand what you’re saying that everyone has a right to make a living/run a business. I think I’ve just seen to many questionable ethics in their biz. More Madoff than Monastic.

Our 2014 Ody had the same problem just out of warranty at around 60k miles, and got the expensive rebuild with a grace from Honda corporate to pay for it—this was before I learned about VCM and muzzling. Has been muzzled since. and no problems over the next 70k miles tho I don’t trust the transmission to make it to…
unassailable.
Smitten by the mk7 GTI starting around 2016. Bought one in 2017. Thought I’d drive it for a couple of years, then teach my daughter to drive a stick shift and turn it over to her in high school, capturing simultaneously the awards of “Cool dad,” and “Doing my part to bring the manual transmission to the next…
Agree. It’s like a pontiac solstice quit the gym and started going to Krispy Kreme instead every day.
Elway has enjoyed near-deity status in Colorado for a long time. I’ve always been shocked at how many of my fellow Kansans have also been die-hard Broncos/Elway fans. Been hard times for them as of late.
