Thanks for that trip down memory lane. Well done.

I read elsewhere there will only be 25 made of the 900hp version. I suspect very few if any will actually make their way to the rental counters, rather to be hidden away for a few years to make their debuts at B-J and Mecum.
Reatta: ‘Ey Ain’t Typically The Answer
I would consider myself low level basic competence at DIY repairs. The airbag fix IIRC involves removal of the entire front dash, which seems a bit involved (and expensive areas to work around or break) for an engineering flaw. If you are capable of a DIY clamshell removal for a clutch replacement, hats off. I also…
Fuck it, I’ll even retract the used 911 qualifier. Towards the end of the Evora GT run, the list prices were easily pushing 110-115k. I think there will be plenty of >100k Emiras adding carbon packages and such. Everyone is entitled to their opinions here, but I call sucker on anyone who would pick an Emira over a…

With all respect to the original and Tracy Chapman, this is my favorite version of Fast Car:
4Runner-Rostam is a contemporary contender. Makes me all wistful to have my nearly bulletproof ‘02 back.
Yeah, the “didn’t know what was about to happen,” but the dozen people standing at the top of the hill with phones out and filming really supports that one.
Just another damn used car shortage article.... /s
A tenure with Jalopnik is kind of like being Hemingway in Cuba. You can drink on it for the rest of your life. Good luck and godspeed.
