Can confirm--former 6'2" Evora owner. Ingress/Egress is tricky and would be harder at 6'6" --it’d be close.
I’m 6'2" (34" inseam) and found the S2000 just about 2 inches too small for me. My 5'7" spouse felt like it was perfectly tailored to her specs. YMMV

The power issue can be remedied through tuning as it was on the 10g Si, if one is willing to forego a warranty.
I own both a mk7 gti and a 10g Si. They each have their better tendencies—the power delivery in the GTI is far smoother and rewarding, whereas the Si is high-strung—like the kid who didn’t take his ritalin and is bouncing off the walls.
