“Is it worth putting my new game on Gamepass/PS+” probably varies widely depending on the circumstances.
Good for them. I am a big fan of Gamepass but I respect companies that don’t want to use it. Baldurs Gate 3 is a perfect example of a game company actually delivering on their promises and I am happy I gave them $70. I honestly am debating buying the physical edition on Xbox as well because I enjoyed it so much
So what are the other reasons?
That’s fine if you aren’t really interested in the game, but if you actually want to play this game, that’s a big time cheapskate move... PS Plus and GamePass is great, but like this man said: you do not want the subscription model to overtake traditional game sales. It will dramatically change the industry and…
Your loss, I guess. There’s so much stuff in the game, it’s easily worth the $70 price tag IMO. It also has a ton of replayability, so it’s not the best for a service where you might lose access to it before you’re done.
23 *work* weeks. 917 hrs is only 10% of the full year. A 40 hour/52 week (yeah, I’m overlooking holidays but, on the other hand, Murica!) would be 24% of the year.
Spencer seems like an okay dude but I would bet money this data is fabricated, either by adjusting backend data or he literally has an intern that plays on his account for him.
I found this years TGAs pretty lackluster. I cant stand how they treat the actual awards like an afterthought. I saw some article somewhere that Geoff should just make it Winter E3 and we can all cut the crap. Just have online trailers for things and call it a day. The way he will just read off a bunch of awards…
Since Kotaku can’t be bothered to list platforms on the year’s most important article about new game announcements, here ya go:
grave news my lord. we have lost Pittsburg and have seen it subsumed by the horde from the horizon. the west may fall.
we have beaten back the furry horde on this day, but they shall attack again. i fear our defenses will not hold forever. yours truly from the front.
Its not just video games - but why is it these CEO clearly screw up and make a mess of things yet remain employed? This sounds like string of bad management decisions. C-suite should pay the price. And not with a golden parachute - they should get the same severance any other employee gets. It amazes me with the focus…
“Elon didn’t just break Twitter. Twitter broke Elon Musk.”
Computer man sad.
In fairness, that looks like taco sauce.
Is it me, or is every damn rear door of those trucks darker than the rest of the cars?
Elon should have stuck with his day job of designing trucks
