Huh, I didn’t know that was on Netflix. Neat-o. And congrats on the family costume.

Ah, that makes sense. I tried getting all my Eagle kids on my Lion NG+ run, and I couldn’t get him. I did get Mercedes on my original Eagle play through, but I was an idiot that blew off most Paralogue missions until right before the time jump, so I missed a ton. Read more

The Paralogues are all pretty good. On my third and final run (Golden Deer) I got one that I somehow missed with Blue Lions that involved Mercedes and a certain villainous figure. It answers a plot question that I wasn’t really addressed in the main campaigns for both the Eagles and Lions.

Damnit, I must have wished on a monkey paw when I asked for non-Tonka Brodozers.

These seem premature, considering that the movie was delayed into next year. Like, do modern children even have any sort of affinity for the character? I’m legitimately curious into how many of these they’ll sell, or moreover, how few they can sell and still manage to make a profit.

Do you like it? I would strongly consider a Dualshock 5 version/equivalent if it releases near the PS5's launch.

No, because he’s subject to Japanese law, and that is what he was accused of violating. Hypothetically, if he was in the US and he didn’t have to touch the firmware, then yes, that is my understanding. It’s actually illegal in the US to mod console firmware to play pirated games. So, it is illegal in countries outside of Japan depending upon the nature of the mod. Firmware is protected by copyright, like most code, but derivative work isn’t a sure fire defense and there are laws erected to close such “loopholes” in Read more

Don’t throw around legal terms if you don’t understand their meaning. Derivative rights are related to copyright law, which doesn’t apply to consoles as they’re covered by patents. Both are under the IP umbrella but they’re not the same.

You mean the same Google Fiber that just left a city and isn’t guaranteed to move to many others if  faced with similar challenges? I’m not holding my breath.

It took way too long for all these companies to start attempting to provide customers with a PS4 equivalent to the Xbox Elite controller. Where were they in 2014? I’m not spending this kind of cash on a single controller for a console I’ll be replacing in like 13 months. Especially after that Wired story on the PS5 Read more

Idk. I only played the PS4 demo and that was like a proof of concept to drum up backer interest. I’m not sure whether the PC demo that the OP referred to is the same one or not. If so, then it is a SUPER early build. Just a vertical slice.

As DrGregs pointed out, that’s an old build. I don’t think it’s representative of the game.

I had to pause way too long decide what order that bottom left image fell in with the rest of the comic. That sort of hitch can kill a joke’s momentum. It doesn’t help that the big robot doesn’t appear again in the background of any subsequent frames to provide a hint for the intended order. Read more
