Because Blizzard has historically released their games on Mac. This is the first mainline Diablo game to not hit Mac.
Because Blizzard has historically released their games on Mac. This is the first mainline Diablo game to not hit Mac.
This also stood out to me. Blizzard has historically done a good job of supporting Macs - even including the Mac install files on the same CDs as their Windows counterparts. The WarCraft III disc I bought in the early 2000s for my PC worked on the Macs I’ve had since college, and both StarCraft II and Diablo III saw…
Are you sure? Macs support Steam. Does this thing not support Mac OS?
I’ve been wanting to play Jurassic World E2 and I don’t mind playing a 2K once every couple of years, so yeah, this doesn’t seem so bad.
Yeah, I think Crystal or Soul Silver might be my favorite but I’ve definitely replayed Yellow more than any other game, Pokémon or otherwise. I do wish that Yellow and Crystal had gotten the remake treatment. FireRed/LeafGreen saw major QOL improvements.
So, I have to disagree on yellow for a couple of reasons:
Bungie is real good at singleplayer shooters!
Is this a paid ad for Max?
Look, I get it. Horizon is an ongoing series. But this was a missed opportunity to give Hunters some Bloodborne armor.
I prefer to get physical copies of Nintendo games because of their resell value years later. Also, we have no idea if Nintendo’s next system will be backwards compatible with Switch games.
Both Horizon Zero Dawn and Death Stranding had rough PC launches. God of War has been the exception.
They’re both garbage chains.
Which is wild when you consider that it’s a studio known for story-rich RPGs.
A modern GPU costs more than a console, so it doesn’t really matter to a console consumer if 2018's God of War is on PC - especially when the ports they’ve put out have had performance issues. They also haven’t brought over any more recent Playstation exclusives yet to PC. It’ll likely be a few more years at least…
Yeah, so long as future generations play my old digital library, I have little reason to move to a different platform. I might get an additional platform if there’s something I really want to play, but I’m increasingly having less time to devote to games, and I don’t even have kids yet.
I hear what you’re saying on the music but I really like the score for Mandalorian. It fits the tone of the show and there are moments in the outro theme that allude to JW’s work on the original trilogy.
Came here to point out that there’s a toilet shown on the Razor Crest in Mandalorian, and then I see you mentioned that in the piece. You clearly know that Jedi Survivor’s toilet isn’t the first canonical toilet in Star Wars.
Then the Series S is truly intended for you. You’d still see benefits from the Series X or PS5 though if you care about higher frame rates, but the S is more than capable of delivering games at 30fps at lower resolutions.
Sony dismissed that market and it doesn’t seem to have hurt their market share at all. The “budget” PS5 merely deleted the disc drive, which, as you pointed out in your second paragraph, made it easier for devs to optimize PS5 versions of their games for one set of specs.
Any future Killzone is going to use the same engine as Horizon.
