I think it could have gotten one for costume and production design. Although, I would think All Quiet on the Western Front is a very strong contender for the latte, even with all the strong competition in that category this year.

Counter-point: Everything Everywhere All At Once is a better movie with mass appeal that people need to give a chance if it ever leaves Shotime. Giving it all the Oscars would be a huge boost to the movie and all the people that worked on it, whereas Maverick and all those involved in making that film are just fine.
From the shooting to the stealth, I can’t say The Last of Us has very good gameplay at all. ND’s games generally don’t have good gunplay, so that’s not particularly surprising.
They haven’t even left Boston yet. I think there’s plenty of time for someone to improvise with a brick or smashed bottle.
“Serviceable” isn’t exactly glowing praise for a game’s gameplay. By Uncharted 4 I was turning on the auto-aim because aiming guns is pretty much the worst part of any of their post-Jak games. It just always feels bad.
The recommendation to focus on ranged attacks is a classic Ari take. I.e., it’s bad. That is unless you’re more comfortable with ranged attacks. I find melee to be much more effective personally, but I do recommend the fireball upgrade and putting points into magic once you’ve upgraded dex and strength. Dexterity is…
I hated when I’d get a rental car that didn’t have it. Saw it a lot with Nissan and Infiniti. The Infinitis missing CarPlay in the late 2010s was a glaring omission on what was supposed to be a luxury car.
But is it wireless Auto/Carplay? That’s a new one that started popping up in the last two years or so. My 2022 has wireless CarPlay and a built in wireless charger.
Meh. I’m disappointed it’s only got two back paddles. I like to use those paddles in games like Bloodborne and Elden Ring, where moving your thumb off the thubmstick to mess with the quick inventory items via the d-pad can mean death. It’s even more disappointing that the battery life is reportedly worse. This is a…
No, Activision-Blizzard was just Bungie’s publishing partner for Destiny. They ended that relationship years ago. Activision never owned Bungie.
Once again, the current crop of Kotaku writers show that they’re not really qualified to comment of economic/business or law-related issues.
Gold is pretty malleable, so maybe it’d fair better than the relatively brittle plastic housing of a normal PSP. Then again, it’s 14 karats, so it depends on the other metals in the alloy.
I thought gold PSPs were just a plot device in South Park. Then again, it’s only 14 karats, so it depends on what other metals are in alloy.
Because of your avatar, I read this in Huey Freeman’s voice and it was pretty on point.
Marty Stratton is redundant, right?
Someone clearly flagged his post in bad faith.
Oooh, now that’s some A/V nerd cred. I actually haven’t ever seen a movie on laser disc, but I’ve always been curious about revisiting something like Jurassic Park or T2 on that format.
Or they see the original release and the remaster as being the same game, while the recent remake is a different version? Idk, Kotaku’s writers can be really weird about using terms like “remake” and “remaster”, sometimes acting as though they’re synonymous.
July 2014 was the release date of the PS4 remaster. Maybe they didn’t have a PS3 and waited for the PS4 version?
It’s definitely a SMG based loosely on the MP7.
