Because of your avatar, I read this in Huey Freeman’s voice and it was pretty on point.

Marty Stratton is redundant, right?

Someone clearly flagged his post in bad faith.

Oooh, now that’s some A/V nerd cred. I actually haven’t ever seen a movie on laser disc, but I’ve always been curious about revisiting something like Jurassic Park or T2 on that format.

Or they see the original release and the remaster as being the same game, while the recent remake is a different version? Idk, Kotaku’s writers can be really weird about using terms like “remake” and “remaster”, sometimes acting as though they’re synonymous.

July 2014 was the release date of the PS4 remaster. Maybe they didn’t have a PS3 and waited for the PS4 version?

It’s definitely a SMG based loosely on the MP7.

You’ve got cable AND VHS AND a stereo receiver. That is indeed retro. I was using a receiver for my record player, but I was eventually able to cut that out entirely with a standalone preamp and an aux cable to my soundbar.

It is simple, you just didn’t know what you were doing. Why wouldn’t you use the HDMI Arc to begin with? That’s the obvious fix. Arc, assuming your soundbar isn’t so old that it doesn’t support it, allows your tv remote to control the soundbar directly for volume. It’s one cord. That’s it. No need for a universal

What are you even talking about? Modern TVs are easier to set up than a new phone. You plug in the power cord and enter your wifi info to use the smart apps. The soundbar connects via one HDMI cable. That’s it. Maybe you have a second HDMI cable for a Roku, Apple TV, Xbox, 4k Blu-ray player, or Playstation, but that’s

You really don’t need them to do the set up. An extra set of hands can be nice for mounting it on a wall bracket, but that’s about it.

I’m pretty sure Best Buy would do free delivery. Not sure on installations, but they’re not that complicated.

I don’t necessarily disagree with you about them withholding information, but I do wonder how people feel about that if they haven’t played the game and know the story already. I know a lot of people that haven’t played the game and are waiting to watch it tomorrow because they’re focused on the NFL playoffs right

I think an audio cue of Joel and Sarah screaming as Joel’s expression changes before charging the guy, instead of a full-on visual flashback, would have been less patronizing to the audience while still achieving the same effect of saying “this guy has trauma and this is why he scares people”.

I didn’t even look at the floors. I was too gobsmacked by the walls.

I’m fairly certain that at the very least the room with the Bored Apes is wallpapered.

Certainly not Pitt now, but Pitt was in the mid-2000s was. Him and Angelina wasted little time.

Wallpaper is a pain the ass to remove. Painting over it is half-assing the project, frankly.

I tried linking a few streaming sites to my PS5

This seems like an odd complaint to me. Aside from the officially licensed stuff, aren’t most of the Fortnite player skins just parodies, homages, or allusions (if I’m being generous) to other pop culture... stuff? I don’t assume them to be any more original than the dancing emotes.
