Yes! So much of it is due to habits. Your spouse has not had a lightbulb moment that hey, things are very different now because he’s just used to not thinking about those things. It’s benign, but you’re going to have to paint that new picture for him.

I came here to say the same! One of the issues is play inequality. If my husband makes more, and has the ongoing potential to make more, who is going to take the less demanding job so they can pick up kids every night?
