We date, we learn!
We date, we learn!
I had a long relationship with someone who was good enough but no fire. So when things got dull, there was no fire to rekindle. So yeah, a friendship but with a lot of sexual tension. From the sex not happening. You have to have some passion and that comes from being wildly attracted to someone!
Did you also date them because you thought they'd never leave/cheat because you were above their league? I am being frank, not passing judgement, because I have a friend for whom this was her core dating philosophy and it backfired again and again. Those dudes were usually insecure and therefore left/cheated or were…
To an extent. He wouldn't have attacked Lady Mary. If anything, the whole thing needed a longer arc for me to find it plausible. If they had a long, on-going flirtation or he'd been rejected a couple of times and got indignant. As it was, not buying it.
If they had pulled this with other characters, and used it to the advantage of the overall plot or perhaps to demonstrate gender roles, etc...I would be OK with it. The way this was done was a big fail.
It felt cheap in the way that it didn't seem like a logical turn of events. I just didn't get where that came from. It didn't seem to fit the situation or even his character (admittedly thin). He violently rapes a pretty significant member of the staff because she rejects him? I could see if it was one of the parlor…
I'm so sorry. I know feeling that level of comfort, that ability to just "be" is so very special, but it isn't impossible to find again. And I know I don't know you, but some of the things you noted, like not admitting you were seeing each other, are just neon, screaming red flags to an outsider. I find it hard to say…
Would like to second this comment because when I was much younger, I found myself in a similar situation. He left work to gather a portfolio to pursue more artistic work. He had a dream! That short term dream turned into a couple of years of nearly no work. Lots of partying, being lazy and general mooching. The worst…
All I had to add to the good advice you are getting here is this:
Came here to say the same thing! I second this excellent recommendation!
So, you think that Kim's mom has a cheap bathroom mirror?
Is the woman in this picture laying in the street? Training without shoes? In a string bikini top? Ok, I'm just too literal.
I thought her close up was way sexier than any of the others' photos. The look! Intense!
I honestly thought this stuff no longer existed. It played a big, plastic-y role in my childhood.
Why not? He's already stolen half the story-lines from the first Upstairs/Downstairs.
YES! I grew up in Florida with super pale skin and dark curly hair. All the pretty girls had long straight blonde hair and tans. I have to say I'm happy now that I didn't give in to taunts and go to a tanning bed or even lay out. It has paid off now that I'm 40.
Jen is having twins. Get with the program, OK!
Thank you. That annoyed me too. I want some degree of realism in my fantasy!
Could be. I'm sure there are a few sides to this story. That is a pretty over the top thing to do and I have to wonder who wants to stir up that kind stress at home? But if they took her dog, yeah, assholes.
