The short wheelbase on the tractor along with the long distance to the trailer axle(s) certainly made this easier than it could have been. Backing my 18 foot car trailer with my short-wheelbase SUV is a piece of cake. Backing a 4x8 utility trailer with my long-wheelbase pickup is nigh impossible.
