All our local Saturn dealers used to do this. The cars got a sticker with the town name “your town here edition”

I remember joking that the bike was VW’s roadside assistance program.

Would love to see something with 2 doors and nice sized bed. I think there’s a niche market for a modern Dodge Rampage.

On my old pickup (an 81 Chevy Cheyenne 3/4 ton) the wipers would wipe once across the windshield at random intervals despite being turned off. Sometimes it would happen after 5 min of driving and then again in 20 min, other times it wouldn’t happen at all or after a longer period of driving.

I dig it, here’s another take on that idea.

I’ve been wanting to build one out of an 80’s caravan. There used to be a shuttle service at KC airport that had a bunch of them pulled behind the Dodge Maxi-Van shuttles. They used them to haul the luggage for passengers in the big van.

Short wheelbase is great for getting trailers into a tight spot. I use a garden tractor to park my car trailer behind the garage, but I bet a Festiva would work too.

Looks hard to park

T-tops and a flatbed, awesome!

There used to be kits in the JC Whitney catalog to convert most compact trucks to a dually. I’ve seen S-10’s and Dakotas done as well.

I had a 1980 Oldsmobile, it wouldn’t idle once it warmed up and thus stalled at every light and stop sign, maybe GM was onto something.

Maybe not the fastest, but certainly looks like the most fun. Cant get more Japanese than a Kei car. With a buy it now of 11k, bidding is only at $800 so I’m guessing it will end south of the 10k limit.

I’m going to say any malaise era beater is probably the worst for sitting in traffic in.

I had fun riding in that car around an autocross course a few times, but yeah, wouldn’t be my choice in traffic.

If off the grid means out of range of my home Wi-fi you’re probably right.

Captain Chaos is the only correct answer to this question.

I give it less than a month after launch before there is one lifted with small wide wheels, the overloaded scrap hauler stance and smokestack through the bed.

Yes, attached to or integrated with the torque converter or clutch. Also used in some Diesel BMW’s.

I’m guessing it means Pewter over Suede Lincoln Mark VII?

I love the flat fender Jeeps.
