I would ride it from the car hauler to the bathroom at the race track. After a night of cheap beer and hot wings you need a pit bike with some off road capability because the quickest route to the john is a straight line.

It’s such a pain to have to sharpen an axe, and chopping up a car really dulls the blade. Much easier to just buy more bullets.
1st gear: I’ve seen it happen, we rented a Charger V6 to go to an event a few years ago, parked it in a grass field and accidentally left it running for a few hours while wandering around a swap meet. I was not the driver, but still even when going to the trunk to grab something from the cooler (water, it was early in…
I have a Dart and a GLH already, but sign me up if they finally make a Dart GLH/SRT whatever.
Was thinking the same thing, let’s make sure it has an alarm system, electronic climate control and and aftermarket remote start hacked in just for good measure.
I’m on my second neon and have been happy with both of them. Like most cheap cars 90% of them were neglected and abused and owned by people that didn’t give a crap.
I think the change in truck cabs is what killed them and why there isn’t a market for them now. Back in the 80’s and 90’s when they were a styling choice so many more trucks were regular cabs. The stepside beds generally looked good on a regular cab truck.
Thank you Doug. I just cancelled my Challenger Hellcat order and I’m on the way to get a base V6 one tonight.
Even more frustrating is that almost none of the options are available with a manual trans. Want the upgraded sounds system? - Gotta get the 2.4/Automatic, where is the rebellion in that?
The Typhoon is cool, but it’s sibling, the Syclone pickup is one of the few GM products I lust after.
With the 2.4turbo and 5speed there is a lot of potential for a fun sleeper. Lots of cheep go-fast parts from all the wrecked SRT-4’s out there.
Knew a guy trying to sell his car with 10k invested in the engine. Just because it was rebuilt 3 times at a little over 3 grand each time he summed it all up as 10k invested. Was suprised he didn’t list 5k invested in tires, 3k in brakes etc...
I’ve never been there, but a former co-worker was building a “new” Jeepney that he could move back home and run once he retired.
Your numbers don’t sound right on original Hemi Challenger pricing. $3270 was the price of a 71 R/T before the Hemi option. With just the Hemi option and the required drivetrain updates r the base price was nearly $4500, before adding on options like your cassette recorder. A loaded Challenger Hemi could push the…
So used CR-V + Sawzall = the small pickup we all want. Can I get one with a manual trans?
When did the Journey get a facelift? the one farther away has a whole different lower fascia and I don’t remember ever seeing a Jalopnik article about it.
It’s like Raisin Bran (Two Scoops)
Ignore all those other posts, anything over 100k miles is junk and is just waiting to break down on you in horrible neighborhood or remote desert where you will be either murdered or eaten by vultures.
