I’m extremely prone to video game motion sickness—the full smorgasbord of ill-effects. These are my preventive measures when playing a game I know will trigger it.

I’ve been playing since ARR release, the reason we have barriers in general and unskippable cutscenes in Castrum/Prae is because people were ditching new players or screaming at them to skip the cutscenes. Making it deeply unpleasant for anyone trying to enjoy the triumphant finale of ARR. So not likely.
I read this article because I thought I’d at least give this person a chance to articulate the reason behind such an oddly flat (and seemingly inane) demand posing as a title.
I genuinely don’t see what’s hypocritical about this BUT I’ve never read any of this person’s stuff and know them primarily through occasional Twitter jokes I see people make. However, if the basis of their philosophy is ‘keep only what brings you joy’, then... this still doesn’t strike me as hypocritical? Frankly…
Also getting older but I think this take is somewhat silly. The market is so massive and over-saturated that there is absolutely no way that polished games are a rarity. If you’re only looking for a specific niche genre, perhaps... but I have 300 games in my Steam list despite only buying some occasionally the last 7…
I used to frequent GameStop until realizing Best Buy and Walmart had a good selection of games. My very, very last experience with GS that made me decide to never return was in 2009. We needed another Wiimote. Mom went to go pick one up from GS only to be told by the clerk (rudely) that Wiimotes WEREN’T SOLD…
My brain has broken trying to see this as MM and I love it.
My stance as someone who’s already given Epic two chances with games in the last three months and come away with only disillusionment, regret and frustration with this company; don’t be rude to people. Don’t threaten people. You fully have the right to voice your opinion and not buy a product, use that instead.
Cool, whatever. As someone who’s already been bitterly burned by Epic with STW and their awful Journey port, this flew right off my To Play list.
I’m STRONGLY considering maining dancer. I was a Bard main during ARR with Scholar as my secondary towards the end, then switched to maining Scholar full time during early HW since I just couldn’t get used to ‘caster Bard’. Then took a break, came back, and dual-mained Bard/Scholar for the rest of HW. SB came, changed…
“The top mode there is called “High Blood Pressure Marathon,” and players have spent a total of 5,447 hours with it. Kaplan said it’s “a mode with no cooldowns, infinite ultimates, and some other crazy things mixed in.” That sounds rad as heck? Meanwhile, we’re over here sitting in organized little circles, literally…
This article strongly amuses me because my friend and I have looked over the OWL numbers, their techniques to get viewers (muted tabs, anyone?) several times since it started and we came to a simple conclusion long ago; Ponzi scheme. It’s the same as the MCN problem with YouTube; it’s a lot of bravado and showy number…
Oh, honey. No. Sit down.
So much terrible, selfish and shortsighted advice in this comment section. I’m going to lay it out flat and plain; every single friendship (and how or whether it sours or not) is different. Every single person is different, and a friendship includes at minimum two of them. Whether you’re borderline, depressed, or the…
As someone who finds Tumblr a terrible place with its hivemind pseudo-tolerance bullying and meaningless ‘social justice warrioring’, it’s nonsense that this is going to kill it. As someone who was there on LJ before it went public and when the Strikethrough happened, it still took like five years and Tumblr itself to…
It’s fascinating that all of this is completely alien to me despite having played FFXIV since ARR release and being Masters in OW. My experience has been directly opposite. I wonder why that is? Simplest answer is just luck but it still seems weird that my experiences have had absolutely nothing in common with yours.…
I feel like the issue is that he’s a weird mix of D.VA, Winston and Hog but with all of their weaknesses and very few of their positives. Buffing him means they have to nerf him or he’ll become too oppressive. Take away from one element to give to another — otherwise he really only works with someone who is REALLY…
I’m so glad you’re doing well, I’m genuinely tearing up. Continued best of luck and fortune to you and yours, the world is a better place for you in it.
Go screw yourself, frankly. I love Mercy and I love healing but GUESS WHAT? Most of the time I get stuck healing because either A) no one else will or B) some poor stupid soul did actually go healer and I’m not going to let them carry that burden alone.
I’m not going to lie, I love Emily. There’s a few reasons for that — mainly that I feel she’s too easy to hate, almost cartoonishly over the top so. In contrast everyone else (who do MANY scummy things, including Jess, who seems was the brains behind the prank that set this all off) who get off super easily/have their…
