It would have been nice if the sequels had made some kind of connection to the first book, but they didn’t.  The first book was so good, but the sequels treated what happened then with a shrug and barely referenced it again.  It felt like everything important that happened in that first book didn’t really matter,

The Others with Nicole Kidman is another good one. It’s a slow, tension building, haunted mansion kind of story. If you like the Lady in White, I think you’ll like that one too.

Antifa = antifascist = ????? = hate group. Because reasons?  Got it.

The Ator movies have haunted my boyfriend since they had video rental stores in his town. He likes DND and got “Ator and the Fighting Eagle” for some sword, sorcery, and boobs.  He was disappointed and then tried his luck with Cave Dwellers, because the title does not tell you it is another Ator movie.  To torture him

OMG I’m not the only one who remembers the Lady in White??!! I’ve looked everywhere for that movie!

I feel like the same thing happened with the Clan of the Cave Bear series.  I loved the first one when I read it as a teen.  I read it again as an adult and still loved it.  Then I learned that there were sequels, and I was gifted them.  I read the Valley of the Horses, and thought, well, that’s a lot of sex; maybe

And the Twilight series, and the 50 Shades series. I’m just so glad that unlike the Presidential election, common sense won out and To Kill A Mockingbird took the top spot. I like a lot of books, but I know which ones are guilty pleasures and which ones are treasures that will stand the test of time and speak to the

No lie, my youngest son was 4 when he saw this movie, and became obsessed with it (Goldeneye). I used to have to hang off the edge of my bed, being the Sean Bean character and say, “For England, James?” My sweet baby boy would do his *very serious* look, and say, “No, for me.” I’d have to fall on the floor and do the

Yup. How many mass shooters have been former military again? I don’t want to shit on everyone in the military, but the fawning over anyone who ever wore a uniform is pretty fucking stupid.

What was gained in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that made service “mandatory”?  Iraq was no threat to us, and we took out Bin Laden with a targeted strike.  Our large scale military incursions were not necessary.  There’s literally nothing to thank the military for in the conflicts that came after 9/11.  He lost

Same.  As a Baystater, she’ll get my vote unless she does something reprehensible, or stops running for office.

“It’s shit like this that makes me embarrassed to call myself liberal.”

I’m really mad that this series made the #2 slot in the PBS Great American Read.  I like trashy reads as much as the next person, but this in no way is greater than Pride and Prejudice or The Lord of the Rings or The Color Purple.

There is literally no one to root for in this scenario. I guess we can hope that they have a full-on catfight on the roof of a Manhattan penthouse and they accidentally knock each other over the edge?

Ignore the haters; I'm with you all the way on the showers.  Hell, I only had baby showers because my basic bitch ex-MIL planned one without me.  I loathe them, and never go if it can be helped.

I saw something funny on social media just yesterday:  “With all the hiring and firing in Trump’s White House, it seems like the only person he ever hired who was even remotely qualified for their position was Stormy Daniels.”

Regarding the pain meds, the reason I didn’t get them for the first 3 kids I had was because it does slow down your labor.  I only got an epidural for the last child, and that labor lasted around 15 hours.  My deliveries without meds lasted 4 hours.  I was in a lot of pain, and the epidural doesn’t completely stop the

I hate to be cold-hearted, but how long until we find out it’s yet another misogynist white guy?

I had forgotten that that just happened this year.  We have so many now that I thought it happened last year.  :(

Love your story. Honestly, me and my kids would be dead if not for the doctors and nurses I had. My 4 children’s weight at birth, in birth order, were 9 lbs 2 oz, 9 lbs 7.5 oz, 10 lbs 7 oz, and 8 lbs 7 oz. I gave natural birth for all of them, and required blood transfusions every time. I had pre-eclampsia with the
