i thought this episode served to highlight how much shit people get into when they think they know everything and don’t listen to anyone else.

QUEEN SANSA OR GTFO
This is also my preferred plotline. I think Dany will lose her shit and try to kill one of Jon’s siblings, Jon will have to kill Dany and then he’ll either go mope as a hermit for the rest of his life or die doing something well-intentioned but stupid. Then Tyrion and Sansa will remarry and rule the shit out of the…
I agree. I think Jon/Dany are a red herring. Dany is going to end up turning into the Mad Queen — there’s just been too many hints of this for them not to take it anywhere. I think Jon will have to kill Dany in order to save someone he loves from her wrath. Then he’ll either mopily retire or die doing something…
Daenerys would be a trash queen. She’s unarguably a good conqueror, but she can’t rule — look what happened with the Sons of the Harpy in Mereen and her own inability to hold Yunkai or Astapor, the way she burned supplies in battle while bringing none of her own to Winterfell, the way she leads with threats rather…
Am I less a feminist because I think Daenerys is the epitome of clueless liberal white privilege, and has little regard for anyone other than herself?
I hope he kills her and he dies and Sansa gets the throne. She and Tyrion are the only people who know how to actually run a kingdom at this point.
You’re really trying to spin evidence and numbers. You said, “There’s also the fact that when fathers do gain primary, they are statistically less likely to be awarded or paid child support, from the US census bureau.” as though that is a sign of bias by ‘the system’ against men when it is not.
Show me these states with this ‘standard custody schedule.’ Again, the PARENTS figure out custody in most cases. If a man wants 50/50 custody, he negotiates for that- in many states that’s now the default. IF he fails to negotiate it, THEN the courts get involved, and they will usually allow 50/50 custody.
I’m sorry that your “I’m right because I said so” shtick does not fly in the real world.
Family courts are extremely biased towards fathers, who even when abusive get custody in most cases:
When custody cases make it to court (as in the judge gets to decide), it’s about 50:50 which party gets primary custody. Men aren’t disadvantaged in the least in these cases. Most child custody arrangements are agreed on privately on OUTSIDE of court, and in those cases, women predominately have custody.
And yet even “feminists” keep pushing the (male) lie that family courts are “biased against fathers”.
So she lost her job, her home, the kids were motherless, she gave birth while being in prison, the bond was only $100 and no one told her, all this because of the entitlement of a guy who wanted the kids so much that he rathers seeing them without a home and a mother.
My early term abortion was a welcome relief and paved the way for good things for many people (myself, my children, the father, the father’s eventual marriage and family). I’m sorry you had such a bad experience and hope you continue to get help with what you experienced. Early abortion is not usually traumatic to…
Why are you so desperate to reach for another explanation rather than accepting that she knows more about her own experience than you do?
I really do not like reading on a screen! I love the feeling paper. But! I haven’t tried a kindle, where the screen isn’t an iPad, which is what I tried reading from.
Yeah, it drives me crazy that people don’t see the similarities between their own religions. But I always ask people what they think of a nun’s wardrobe when I hear them criticizing burqas or something. It usually doesn’t cause them to be immediately defensive and hopefully makes them think for a minute.
Yes. And even if you follow all these rules, if something does not go according to plan, then it must have been something you did. They cannot accept that sometimes bad things happen to women through no fault of their own. Oh no, you must have broken SOME rule and are a sinner and should be ashamed.
Where the hell do they get the numbers in that Average Anna bit? Do they pull them out of their ass. A better way of putting it would be: Unlike girls who were taught that their bodies were occasions of sin, so they have to dress modestly lest they tempt any weak-minded male (although not so weak minded that they…
