If this movie is gonna be all “stringent quarantine procedures during a deadly viral outbreak are actually THE VILLAIN,” can this finally be what gets Michael Bay canceled?

Yeah maybe lets not make a movie about Covid until people have stopped dying from it guys. Especially considering the rise in cases and the fact that our federal government is happy to just ignore it and act like its going away

That seems very uncharacteristic of the usually subtle Michael Bay.

Leave Pink Floyd out of this.

In other words, the Democrats are suggesting that this is all part of a scheme to use “hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars for partisan political purposes ahead of the upcoming election, and to direct taxpayer funds to friends and allies of Trump Administration officials.” Thursday.

So just a typical black market church school full of softcore porn, got it

I took it to be from a bi guy, which is why he would feel guilty. If it’s a woman feeling that guilt for contributing to the patriarchy in some way then she’s REALLY taken things beyond reason.

Your SJW SO is SO down with OPP(yeah you know me)!

No that’s fine, just go with it.

Sometimes I can ONLY do it when thinking of the patriarchy....

LW1 is not a reliable narrator. Few people who write Dan are, and even though she doesn’t seem like she’s spinning the entire story, there’s little chance that this interaction went as simply as “Hey honey, I just stopped by to see you like I said I would.”

But there was no smoke. And he accused her of not trusting him, because she didn’t trust him. Odds are she didn’t just stop by, she stopped by and caused a scene, or at least did a bad job hiding that she didn’t pop by to see him, but to see her.

Maybe he freaked out because he knew his gf was a nutcase and there was no guarantee that she wouldn’t smash some girl in face just for existing in the same space as him.

Help! I’m an EJP with PCP-fuelled ESP, so I know *for sure* my SO is down with OPP.

Thanks for the great review/warning. I only wish you had gone with “Oh. Ammit, amirite?”

How much more dead could these ones be? The answer is none. None more dead.

Part of the reason that The Vow was so frustrating and weird is that a very large chunk of it is these “whistleblowers” patting themselves on the back for getting out of the cult without mentioning how much money they were making. I thought their party for the New York Times story was in poor taste, putting it mildly.

These people were making a profit, so they looked the other way, or worse, helped Keith Raniere and the Bronfmans in their criminal activities and legal battles.’

Exactly.  As a filmmaker, I found the whole process of the making of this film highly ethically dubious, as it completely blurs the line between subject and makers, and I I was really unclear just who was making this film.  I gave up watching it midway when I became convinced I was watching a preemptive defense

It was pretty infuriating that the it took 7 hours and 50 minutes of that miserable slog before the guy with the footage finally uttered on camera “maybe I was stupid”. It is nice that the documentary would give some sense of voice to the personhood of the victims (see the Michelle McNamara doc on HBO to see that done
