NAS. It's what I'm using now to centralize software installers as well as storing backups of my music, movies, drivers, documents, etc. I'll buy a WHS eventually, but not now.

@bodoleclodo: U.S. only... :D
@glitch1138: Oh hell yeah. I've got a machine with an HD 3650 card in it at home. I imagine they'll be rolling out support for more integrated graphics chipsets later. They really should, if they aren't. #flash
@badhatharry: My money's on the old lady. Next time yield to an emergency response vehicle, grandma! #googlestreetview
I voted Avira (free) because of its high detection rate and low memory footprint (~10 MB between two processes).
Alternatively, you could login to your guest account?
@matt.delhey: Is that not what the dock concept has always been? #dock
@minimal: Seriously. I was running this on a professional workstation and running it made my case's intake fans turn on. Consistently. I opened and closed it several times and each time it made my intake fans kick in from the temperature increase. #taskbarmeters
You're not alone, Adam! I normally have to paste the text in Notepad and re-copy it from there. Word helps you out by letting you choose but even then, pasting text initially brings havoc on the rest of my formatting and makes me cringe.
@Adam Pash: I've just been using a wireless mouse and connecting my laptop to my TV. It's the cheap man's way. #windowsmediacenter

Yes. I've pre-ordered one copy of Windows 7 Professional (upgrade) at the discounted student price. I'm planning on picking up the Family Pack upgrade and upgrading 3 other machines to Windows 7 Home. So, that will be 4 upgrades. 2 from XP, 2 from Vista Home Premium. 2 laptops and 2 desktops. #windows7
@itsjareds: It's called "bokeh" and there are various variations on it. Here is one person's take on it: [-kol.deviantart.com]
@Pale: Stop pretending like you don't know the answer to your own question. Seriously. Just stop. How well does a Linux server integrate into a Windows home? Certainly not as good as WHS. How much of a pain in the ass is Linux? Major. How much documentation is there? Minimal to moderate. Am I going to be typing at a…
@Kafata: It's a clever dig. It says "Small Talk."
@landonmiller: [MLB.com] has used it, as has NBA.com. NBC used it to stream the 2008 summer Olympic games.
Doubleplusgood?
LOL, more than half the people don't see the need. Count me in with that.
All I'm thinking of is the pruny skin.
