@battra92: You may as well hit up the internets if you're not even willing to put up $29.
Well I would be happier with 329 Mbps, but I'm happy with FiOS @ 15 Mbps down/5 Mbps up.
I want to be able to have simultaneous private browsing and non-private browsing windows open. In IE, you can hit CTRL+Shift+P and a private session opens alongside your current session. I like logging into bank/credit/cell phone accounts online and hate how Firefox makes me drop everything if I want to login to those…
RAWWWR. This has pissed me off to no end. Thanks LH.
*Double-post rage*
I remember when it was still Gaim v 0.x.x and someone made a fork specifically to add video chat to Gaim. The fork was supposedly being absorbed into the main release but that hasn't been completed until now, apparently. That was like 5 years ago.
I don't really see the advantage of having a dedicated media server over something more basic like a NAS device. I turned an old PIII Dell into a NAS and if I want to stream media I just open files on my laptop and connect it to my TV. Really, why do you need a specialized intermediary when you can just map a network…
@jaxun: Well you, sir, are a fastizio! See that? I can make up words, too.
@G.O.B.: Come on!: Additionally, if I was to take the plunge on a tablet (which I won't because I honestly don't like the idea of having to either hold it or lay it flat), I would go for the CrunchPad. If it ever comes out: [engadget.com]
I'm curious as to what they would aim for with the tablet. A multi-touch device that relies on an on-screen keyboard? Most likely. Which means you can kiss handwriting goodbye unless they've developed a hybrid system. Either way, handwriting support is piss-awful in OS X. Watch and cringe:
@supersoundguy: Instances when I need to see the menu bar and have it fully visible = .01% Print Preview is probably the only thing I go to the menu for. Most everything can be triggered or accessed by shortcut key combinations. What do you access from the menu constantly that can't be done with a CTRL + *Key*…
VOTE: Pidgin
@sixela: Me Tarzan...You Jane. *Chest-Thumping*
@RoFLKOPTr: Agreed. As if it didn't take long enough for deals to be made for full-length streaming. All this does is give labels clout for reverting back to 30-second previews. Why anyone would want a 128 Kbps copy or defeat the central purpose of Last.fm's ability to stream is quite puzzling. I'm not siding with…
You're aching for the ban hammer.
I have enough trouble with the Windsor knot. Nice French cuffs, though.
It is the cruise control for cool, after all.
@kettlewhistle: I get weird looks for writing in cursive as well. :(
