If you’re asking whether or not it is truly instantaneous, it’s not. However, a shift in a DCT will take mere milliseconds to complete (I think about 30 ms or so on average). In my opinion, anything under 100 ms is seriously fast considering that a human takes 300-400 ms just to blink an eye.

I don’t know whether to be more impressed with the quickness of the transmission or the capabilities of the global positioning system.
