Well if it sends these things to the scrap yard quick then I am ok with it. Lord they are fugly.

Where are those generic motors and battery swaps?

I have the same year Bonneville. It’s been a solid ride for thousands of miles. Still carb’d and the capable 800cc engine. Well worth $2k.

I feel like the methheads are already too engergized - we need to remove some of the excess energy!

The present Malibu won’t win any awards for design but it’s not unpleasing to the eye like previous generations or the *gasp* Lumina had been.

I’m in northern Illinois, and I’m astonished by the number of grown-ass men that will head out to the store in shorts in winter.

Bloomberg is paywalled for me, but based on the quoted excerpt, I don’t think the article is quite saying what this Jalopnik article says it says.

From what I’ve read, after the Boeing and McDonnell Douglas merger, most of the Executive level was changed to favor MD’s leadership and financial teams at the expense of Boeing’s engineering and technical leadership.
So although the company is now called Boeing, it’s run by McDonnell Douglas for which you are

The floor in Koots isn’t even that bad, these days.

Sometimes i do question whether most Jalops do tell you to drive what you want. Sometimes it seems to me that they are hardly even enthusiasts,. If they don’t like cars why are they here? You’re right about the “not a real truck “ wackoffs though.

Saturn didn’t fail because of no-haggle pricing, it failed because GM’s other divisions didn’t like how it was operating in a unique way (and initially got a lot of resources when it was highly successful at launch). Later they changed things to operate more like other GM divisions (shared parts and spread out

The Bel Air is a timeless piece of Americana with broad appeal.

I like the cut of your jib! I guess I am ok with them being hammered 24x7x365 as long as they can’t drive.

We take driving while intoxicated far too leniently all over, this is bad, but too many places still see driving drunk as no more than a social faux pas at worst. We need to start taking it a lot more seriously.

maybe lighting interest dropped because the promised 40k truck evaporated and it quickly turned to 80.  if they could bring back the 40k stripper in any way shape or form it would sell like crazy.  it says 70 now when i look on the site but thats still too high for a point of entry.

Using the restroom takes a couple minutes. And when I stop for fuel I stop for fuel. I’m not getting food and everything else. And no, it doesn’t take me 20+ minutes to put gas in my car and go tinkle. It takes even less time if I’m not tinkling too.
