Windex never seems to work for me, mostly smears it all over the windshield. Vinegar in water and a new microfiber for me.

So who is doing the maintenance on all these 737's lately? We probably shouldn’t leave it to the Explorer Scouts any more.
When I lived in AK, studded tires were legal and I studded motorcycle knobbies and rode all year round. I wasn’t the only one, we had a ADVrider group and we went for a ride on Wasilla Lake on Boxing day in more snow than cars would put up with. Never dropped a bike in the snow or ice.
We were looking into buying one of these and after doing my due diligence research on it decided hard no. Drivetrains is not the issue, it’s mostly the air suspension and general Mercedes-ness of it.
someone should see if they would name a tire “Maypop”
A building from the 70's is somehow a historic part of the story of Detroit?
I’m not a big fan of the Chinese tires in general but the naming of them is gold. Who wouldn’t want a nice set of Tormenta tires on a BYD Dolphin?
I guess you could buy this as a time capsule but for $7500 I’d rather buy the cars this thing was meant to compete against, and by compete against GM meant guilt you into buying the American interpretation of this class of vehicle. Malaise era brand engineering at its worst. Might be a NP for those who weren’t there…
I have a 79 Chevy K20 that’s been bankrupting the family at the gas pump since it was new. A couple years ago I decided to swap out the quadrajunk for a FItech EFI system, figuring that surely it would give me a bit more fuel economy.
It’s that lens that bothers me as well. That gives me “screw this I surrender” vibes that make me wonder what else is hiding in those big red flanks.
As an offical boomer (grand)dad I don’t get this at all.
“owever, federal agencies need to be sure what’s actually hovering in New Jersey’s skies. The FBI already confirmed that at least one drone sighting was a manned aircraft.”
we were driving in Arizona watching a fully overloaded logging truck dancing to and fro on the wheels, side to side, and flogged our rental Versa as hard as we could to get around it. You wonder how long the truck driver was going to white knuckle it before even he was done, he had to have been feeling that.
Nobody was thinking of these until the 6G Bronco was released, and then that rising 6G tide lifted the old boats.
The ultimate pirate recruiting song. Pretty sure I had this movie on VHS.
The richest car guy I know doesn’t have a R5 turbo. If he wanted one he’d have Randy Grubb make one for him.
The closest public charging station to where I live has 2 chargers in front of an EZ mart. There was a Rivian parked there unattended so I had a look at the charges and the progress, my calculations figured it was at going to be at least 2 hours and the bill was going to be $70. That’s not good enough, considering I…
We upgraded our service to 200 amp from 100 because there will be a time in the future when someone will need some room in the breaker box for a charger.
If automakers build EV’s that can be refueled to 350+ miles of range in less than 5 minutes that cost the same as ICE then people will buy them, or at least consider them. Until there is the parity it’s not reassonable to expect buyers to buy more EV’s. Those who want them have them, and nobody I know is willing to…
Ground duties are usually handled by third party low bidder companies, with low bidder wage crews. They will handle the planes with all the gentle care they bestow on your luggage.
