I learned the basics back in college as I thought I would be doing this as a living, well that didn’t quite work out but with a command of the basics and access to the shop manuals in the days before the internet and now youtube university I haven’t ever had to farm out anything beyond tire work and machine shop work.

What you might find is that one removes the front engine brace and uses a ratchet strap to rotate the engine forward. There is always a way. 

Combining anything with an Asian automatic from that era makes for a the most boring McCar ever. The CP will have to come back out for this one.

Some insurers do cover rebuilt titles. I specifically asked my company if they would insure my BMW that was totaled by a hoof rat if I did the buy back and repaired it and they told me np problem.

I have a 1979 K20 that’s in pretty good condition and I get people coming up to the house wanting to buy it. Once the decent squares are all snatched up or priced to oblivion, the next series downhill is going to go up in value and it looks like we are seeing the early signs of that happening already.

I’d check the sterring bearings first. When they get notchy or stiff the bike acts like it’s drunk.

I’m going to NP this one, it’s about as clean as you are going to find one and the GMT400's are becoming the new squarebody. It’ll do susburban truck stuff and still get the kudos at the cars and caffeine meetups.

ehhh, seen one ride sharing scheme you seen them all. You kids go ride them till they stop moving, pick up another one and some poor guy with a pickup has to fetch them all up in the morning before the city tosses them in the dumpster. Doesn’t take a mentat to figure this out.
