I’d rent this buggy as an alternative to subways and taxi’s on my next trip to Paris...but that won’t happen as I’ve been to Paris and found it fairly repellent, being dirty, noisey and full of French people. Maybe they could rent them in Rome?

Tire studs let me do this without drama. They make that much of a difference.

I’m handy with a wrench, I’d pick this up, spend some time on that IMS, check out the liner creep, then have some top down fun. This is getting down to 924/944 territory. Nice Price for me.

Pretty sure that $5500 buys a used example of a vehicle platform that is mature and developed and not a glorified science project kit car. I think any of the current models are better grounded and can generate less resistance and impedance to ownership, ohm man this is some electric crack pipe.

with that much glass, and the way it curves, AC isn’t a want, it’s a need.

Did you NP’rs not see the rust coming through the bondo under that canary yellow respray? This fishbowl is hiding a lot more of that I promise you, glorious Kenosha pot metal frisky with tinworm. Phuct not phat.

I’d say “rat rod” but there isn’t enough to be a rat, more like a “vole rod”

No inspections in MI. Good thing too, this one is Michigan Ready.

The bride comes from the Isle of Wight, and when we went there to see her old stomping grounds she pointed out the old Saunders-Roe, now BAE, hanger right on the water in Cowes, then proceeded to tell me about magical craft I had never heard of. All we ever knew here was boring old Boeing.

Look at the Indian line up. Same visual packaging and a light year more advancd in technology

If Nissan really wanted to improve their image they might try sending something halfass decent into the rental fleet instead of the sin bins they shovel out there at the moment. I’m pretty sure that the words “Nissan” at the rental counter crush the soul of the renter, even more that the word “Jeep Patriot”

Neutral-when this whole horseless buggy business started, there was not a dominant propulsion technology. Electric and steam were also contenders, but without subsidies the public made the choice of what juice the buggies would be running on. Give the public an apples to apples choice between ICE and the other

Or the automakers could give us alternatives that are on a par performance, ecnomy, price and range wise and if/when they do, the public will vote with their checkbooks. Subsidies or punitive taxes to artificially promote one technology over the other is a cynical way to collect taxes from the segment of the

a lot less of it there than here. It’s about $8-$9 a gallon in the UK and probably more in London, plus congestion taxes and such

And just like that the LiveWire disappears in a puff of epoxy and lithium smoke.

I don’t know if I can call it a “bad situation”. If the owner can still make the payments it’s not a “bad” situation, it’s inconvenient for a desire, not a need. To me a bad situation would be “I lost my job and had to choose between car payments and food”

kinda mooshy and tasted like fear and tire smoke. Would not buy again.

Yes it was totaled, I bought the car back and asked if they needed the title to brand it as salvage, they did not because it was over 10 years old.

Oh how I wanted one of these when they were new and the wrong side of $30k for a really nice one. They come stock with 175 ponies but decent tuning unleashes many more. Almost bought one a decade ago for $650 so see, the prices are going up! NP flies for me.

I’d buy Ford Sierra badges and call it done.
