You love to sit across bright people who want to charm and impress you, it’s a tremendous ego boost, but bullshitters do great in interviews,
I’d argue you have WAY too high an opinion of modern college. The hard part is getting in, not passing once you do. Additionally it’s entirely possible, (and in some cases likely) that some of these kids may have been accepted on their own merits, the parents just weren’t satisfied with “possibly”. They wanted to make…
Fake crew. Unclear whether she knew or not. Reads like the parents were taking great pains to keep their kids in the dark even via the athletic route. (With the obvious exception of the one who bought his kid water polo equipment and got him to pose for pictures.)
Variety also reports that Olivia Jade has a ton of other deals with brands that have yet to comment on whether they’ll continue to work with her
Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls)
Disagree. You have all the evidence but came to the wrong conclusion. The solution isn’t a free waste of 4 years for everybody. It’s removing the requirement of having a higher education for jobs that don’t need it.
Paying for healthcare is not like paying for other things; eventually, if you get sick enough, you have to go to the doctor whether or not you can afford it. And if you can’t, someone else is paying the bill. This is why a healthcare system where not everyone has insurance makes no sense.
Eh, I tend to think of the whole “ask the father” thing as more testing the father than actually wanting/needing permission. My 2 cents, but assuming your Bf/Gf has any significant relationship with their family, you aren’t just marrying them, you’re marrying into that. And if “all that” isn’t at least tolerant of…
concerned that he lied, and withheld information from her when her dad refused to give Colton his blessing to potentially marry his daughter. <snip> then proceeded to disregard her father’s opinion when it did not reflect his.
The fact that he has to be pedantic about it only shows what amazingly (and intentionally?) misleading reporting it is.
From what I read of the docs, didn’t even look like the school had an expectation they’d play on their “actual” sports teams, just participate in their intramural program.
Yeah, jumping from “can’t afford average” to “can’t afford anything” is ridiculously misleading.
Eh, still think that, like religion, marriage status, etc. “College education” should be off limits for job interviews/resumes/etc. Employers should be forced to hire somebody based on an assessment of their actual skills/ability, not whether they wasted a whole lot of time and money at a college.
True, but do you really think they aren’t going to experience any repercussions from this?
Ditto. First time I tried it I was wearing (tight) bluejeans. Failed at the “get the pants off” part. Once those pants got wet there was no way in heck I was getting ‘em off.
Counterpoint:
Uhm.... so he didn’t burn the convoy, he just blockaded the road to keep it from continuing, and the blockaded convoy inadvertently got torched simply because the protesters have bad safety precautions/aim?
Can I get a copyright for this special set of motions where I put one foot in front of another approximately 1 stride apart in a repeating sequence as I let my arms swing in opposition?
Was wondering the same. Figured whoever owns the rights to the show (if anybody) would have the rights.
