The problem is the manufactures thrive off of these ads. I get quite a few clients that come in from Audi’s ‘Lease an A4 for 340/mo’ deal and there are so many fine-print details on top of that.

It’s really silly that the RS3 and the TTRS are almost identical (on paper) when it comes to performance. When I personally drive the S3 and TT, the TT feels faster and rotates around corners much better. I will hold my opinion on the RS models until I drive them both, but I’ve already heard some good stuff and bad…

What are your sources about the pricing dropping on a 2018 model? Do you mean in depreciation? If not, usually the new generations ask a 2% increase, so even if your 1-3k prediction was right for depreciation, it would be null. Who buys one of these cars and keeps it a stripped out base anyways? Sure, I could be one…
