I actually thoroughly enjoy my ‘16 A3 Quattro! It has a fair share of understeer, but it’s not bad at all if you know how to modulate the tail with lift-off throttle! I have fun when it rains because of AWD powerslides! When I need to have more fun, I’ll just take my Miata out.

A VH45DE is CHEAP, HEAVY and not anywhere near as good as the LS1. Sure, those VH/VK Nissan V8s use racing pistons and sodium filled valves or whatnot, but it’s just not that damn good. Had the car had a professional LSx swap done with a rebuilt engine, I’d wager that price would be nice.
