I wish I could star you more than once. I went to Germany once for work. My customer ended up with a Polo. He wanted something bigger and nicer, but his company was being cheap. Then he drove it and realized it wasn’t an utter turd like he thought a car that tiny would be.  I had a Seat Leon (which is a size bigger)

I never understood why the manufacturers only sold the crappy compact vehicles in the US. Seriously, there are a lot of decent compact cars in the world that costs around the same as a Mirage or one of those Chevy Aveo/Spark things that are way better. In recent history I only remember the Honda Fit and the Ford

Because a crappy beat up 90's junker that’s been run low on oil multiple times, has seats drenched in bodily fluids, sacked out suspension, have no ABS, rust or crash damage and will leave you on the side of the road and/or require a garage full of tools?

Toyota just does not get it. On the one hand they know EXACTLY how to build for the masses. Camry, rav4, highlander, etc. On the other they just do NOT understand enthusiast cars.

Someone made a video showing cakes that looked like non-cake items, it went kind of viral and now it’s a meme to photoshop random things as cake.

Right there with you on both counts.

yes! more to come!

No manual option in the last 15 years, defacto car for suburbanites = higher resale cost, about as fun to drive as watching grass grow during a drought.

Looks like a mashup of a 3G Eclipse and an RX-8 that the product planning department belatedly told them had to become a four-door. Another trip through the studio (preferably one that included fixing the “I miss my Pantera—wait, maybe it’s there in my blind spot” sightlines) might have helped. As is, it’s got too

Also based on reviews, the new Explorer is not good. If I were in the market I would be picking up a Telluride without a doubt.

No. It was an inexpensive three-row AWD wagon for people who don’t have money to piss away. For those of us who use a vehicle as a tool for transportation and not a toy, the Journey is a great bargain, especially with the underfloor storage, which is a life saver for those of use who live in America’s Siberia and need

Surprisingly, Chevrolet still has the Spark listed - for $14k! - and the Trailblazer crossover starts $19k.

See, I think this is the wrong decision. They need to “lean in” to this (paid for) platform. With the recession/depression that just HAS to be right around the corner, cheap reliable new cars are going to be so important.

Compare the things like features and standard equipment. Add in that long ass warranty and the answer is clear.

If you look at what it offers... it’s not a bad value.

Damn. That’s all I can say. This looks good as hell. Should be a hell of a value too. Prepare to see these things a lot because Kia moves a lot of Optimas and Fortes.

Easy dude. Some of us really like that this is available, for-profit or not. As the gear head dad of an LGBT teenage son, I dig that this has been made available for me. His older brother will probably be psyched to get this too. Commercialism and Cause can coexist.
