The Jeep XJ is a great off-roader, but let’s be honest here- it’s a miserable car. The back seat is cramped and the interior is just malaise- era miserable. I see no reason why anyone would want a RWD Jeep XJ.

Volvo has bee optioning wool seats for years, and for good reason! They are superb:

give me insanely plush velour, or gtfo

To be fair, this person actually was able to review this car first hand. How about you?

Who let you out of the greys.

Tis true. Leather was for the Chauffeur as he was sitting outside and needed a more resilient material. Comfy cloth was for those paying in back.

Toyota is the only one doing luxury correctly....

Although its just a marketing gimmick, it still works. Its way more functional than fake vents and scoops. Better yet, it will easily pay for itself over its lifetime.

Electricity is more efficient/cheaper than gas to move a car (in city). Solar panels create electricity. Over its lifetime it will create enough

For some reason, small fuel efficient city cars have never been popular in America.

You’d be amazed at what us engineers can accomplish when you take budget out of the equation.

Most are cities are just not built for it, also climate isn’t always cooperative; precipitation in the winter and beating down sun in the summer, we don’t exactly have a lot of nice tree lines streets with cover for what’s above. Lastly, as a brown man, I get really sweaty, my 7 mile commute would leave me drenched

i think you discount the fact that a lot of ppl who live in cities/apartments have a ton of gear for climbing/hiking/biking/camping. I live in a house w/a garage and a basement and a yard now but for many, many years i lived in downtown’s with little parking space and i still use/needed a vehicle to do stuff with.

Counterpoint: suburbs.

I think several million 4WD and SUVs on the road that has never been within 10 miles of a patch of dirt will prove that there are a significant number of auto buyers out there who rarely think about actual use of the thing they are buying.

I don’t feel it in the car, but I feel it in my head. Taking care of your belongings feels good.

Happier, better handling, better acceleration, quieter, more fuel efficient, and the speakers sound better. This is scientifically true.

How many of you feel like your car drives happier when it's clean?

I’m not a Ford guy, our family has been pro GM and anti Ford all my life. I’ve never owned a Ford, but since Vega is not a choice here, it’s Pinto all the way. Especially for the wagon option. It doesn’t have to be as sweet as this one, either.
