Vatanen flat out... The famous ‘Dear God’ video was filmed at the Isle of Man

Sorry guys, I accidentally cast my screen to “DC Train Station ALL” instead of “DC Train Station Basement office”

No, because that would be horrible and inhumane. At the same time, though, why does it always seem like he’s filling the machine during peak foot traffic hours?

Every time I walk by that giant, I think I can reach in and sneak one out of his bin. I never do though :(

A giant comes with a big ring of keys, opens the front of the machine up, and refills it with cars from a box he bought from the wholesale store. Then he locks everything again and leaves until the machine needs filling again.

I know how you get the cars out, but what about putting the cars in the machine. How do they do that? Is it basically the same process as with a normal vending machine, but scaled up?

that seemed like a fair pass tho... so i dont know what he’s getting his panties in a twist over...

That’s a good point, Tesla has the edge in their investment in a nationwide supercharger network, but that is only relevant for long distance travel. Most commuters drive less than 100 miles a day.

What about a national charging network?

That image looks like a literal rendering of a polished turd.

Bro....you didn’t know that Trooper cars really have NASCAR racing engines in them? I’m pretty sure I read that on the internet somewhere. :D

you’re thinking too, horizontal, andrew...

I was referencing this bit where they’re making it seem like the team had actually decoded something. I realize that it’s otherwise just a relay.

Looks like the way this works is that they repeat the keyfob signal rather than “hack” it.

The car will continue to run until you turn it off or run out of gas. It will just give you a notification that the key isn’t with you, but it will continue to run/drive normally. I’ve been a tech at both motorcycle/car dealerships that use proximity keys and I’ve driven/ridden off without a key numerous times.

No, the signal only helps to unlock and start the car, if you were to somehow throw the fob out the car down the freeway, the car wouldn’t stop. You just wouldn’t be able to lock it or start it again.

When you say it won’t drive, do you mean you can’t put it in gear, or does it take away the throttle pedal or something?

So you want to do what they say can’t be done?
