Agreed. I watched this mostly because of its Parks & Rec cred (I rarely watch shows that don’t have magic in them or are in the distant past). It didn’t blow me away, but I got a couple of good LOL moments (“I kicked your dog into the sun.”) and as you mention, it will likely get stronger as it goes.

The premiere was so great. Bell and Danson are perfectly cast.
