We just paid down a deposit for our kiddo (who, btw, is still in utero) for a spot at a fairly good daycare. She’ll start when she’s about 4 months and it will cost us $17,200 for the year. That won’t start including meals until she’s older.
There was a depressing segment on the Daily Show last night where Jordan Klepper interviewed a bunch of folks at a Trump rally. A few were insistent that Obama was to blame for 9/11. That he wouldn’t be elected president for another 7 years seemed to be of minor importance.
Yes! I really like those character decisions, because you can just imagine all the funny places you could go story-wise with that. Bell’s character isn’t the only one with flaws!
She is probably my favorite character, currently. “Maybe I should try to be silent!” *2 seconds of silence* “Ah! My god, how wonderful!”
My husband and I did the same thing - I really enjoyed that bit. Very clever, and very funny.
And, as the Atlantic recently reported, “terrorists” are more likely (and more speedily) to be convicted in a civilian court, anyway.
