Because I lived through the 2000 election and I know what happens when idealistic people vote third party in a close race. I’d rather not relive a worse version of the Bush administration and the death, destruction and chaos it created, thanks.

You are odious. I’m not picking fights with anyone, as far as I can see in this thread that’s all on you.
But that’s not because of 3rd party support, it’s because of apathy. That’s the true enemy right now. We need a way to get our age group energized, excited, and inspired to go out and vote! But I will happily settle for just energized if that’s all we can muster, as long as it gets them to the polls.
Again, I’m not blaming anyone. I am a millenial.
As a millennial, the only peers I know that are voting third party are republicans that don’t want to vote for Trump. I am not inclined to change their minds.
I’m not blaming. I think you’re reading my comments through a lens that doesn’t match my perspective. I also think that people have been complaining about the youths since Socrates, and that millenials are not the actual worst, but these are real true facts that we are not served by ignoring because it’s uncomfortable…
Angry white men are not enough for trump to win. Trump needs to convince college educated whites, male and female. He needs Hillary to win lower percentages of black, young, and Latino voters than Obama. And that’s it, really. And that’s why it could be scary, considering the historic levels of support Obama received.…
i love that my tuesday mornings are now sam bee mornings. WE NEED HER EVERY DAMNED DAY!
Her best strategy is to largely ignore him and lay out policy platforms with detail and specificity.
Your peer group does not outweigh the reality of statistics. Clinton is running 18 points behind Obama’s numbers in the 18-24 group. That’s a huge margin. It won’t just be one thing that elects Trump if, that hell were to happen, it would be a combination of things. Death by a thousand paper cuts.
I’m also a millenial and while the millenials may not be voting for Trump, they’re breaking third party instead of for Hillary. It’s an important voting bloc for the Democrats and it behooves us not to ignore this reality.
As someone who has adored and admired Hillary Clinton since I was a child, I was certain that I would feel better about the election (and the prominence sexism) once the Democratic primary was over the progressive family finally united around HRC.
You are objectively right, but it’s the subjective truth that will count in the debate, and subjectively, the standards are so very different for trump and Hillary. To “win” the debate, she pretty much has to reduce him to tears, while all he has to do is stay more or less upright.
I don’t know. Millenials have lived their entire lives immersed in anti-Hillary GOP propaganda, then Bernie got angry and repackaged it and idk we might just be fucked.
Really, actually starting to get nervous now. Just went on fivethirtyeight.com and it’s just about the closest it’s ever been. How do we stop this?
As a South Carolina resident, this is incredibly frustrating. Dylann Roof did not lose any of his rights as a citizen after he was charged with killing 9 parishioners at a black church. He’s just as much of a (suspected) domestic terrorist as Rahami.
That should be our focus, not a future domestic criminal trial that may take years to complete.
There you go with your liberal overstatements again. He doesn’t want to destroy America. He just wants to destroy all the parts he personally doesn’t like because what is America if you can’t have it your way. Or was that Burger King I am thinking of?
The constitution doesn’t apply to brown people. I don’t know how often real Americans need to explain this simple truth until libruls get it.
