Right? I remember reading it as it released, I was anticipating each new chapter with baited breath. It’s so. Damn. Good.

The first game caters to the min/maxer in me. Soloing until level 4 or 5 before getting your party just feels so good. Breaking BG1 is fun, but yes, you’re correct. BG2 is the far superior game, and you really don’t need to play the first one to enjoy it.

Obligatory when talking about future football:

This. The mention of Baldur’s Gate is huge. You can easily dump 300 hours into a single playthrough of those two games, and it’s something I want to do again but... Wow. That’s a LOT of time, and I don’t feel like I can spend a whole month playing a single game.

Damn, yeah. While watching it’s hard to parse all of those crystal deaths, but holy crap there was a lot. I can only imagine the work going into this episode on her part, that’s a ton of stuff to organize.

I am LOVING how much Adam Driver is going on these days. Kylo was a start, but I love seeing him in other stuff. He’s got a lot going for him.

I haven't seen Nintendo go after ROM hacks. This would be a first. 

Seriously? Why would this be "taken down"? It's not a fan game, it's a ROM hack, of which there are hundreds for Mario 64. They don't get taken down. This isn't a metroid 2 situation

This game is DEFINITELY on my list. I love the idea that if some of your stats are TOO high, then they start to take over. The bickering between them sounds right up my alley, as someone who loved Ayreon’s Human Equation as a teenager.
