When I visited SA around 2013ish, I was taken aback when we would go over bridges and pass signs that said “Such and such river”. It was always a ditch filled with dry grass. Do they actually fill up?

Funny. It was just yesterday I was fiddling with that and making my own controller for the heckie of it.

I like the sound of that. Might have to actually give this one a try. I shy away from horror and gore most of the time, but can oddly tolerate it in the tone of the Ice Cream trilogy or Cabin in the Woods. I think it’s the suspense being replaced by comedy beats or sudden violence. I hate the waiting.

If it were me, and they weren’t a good friend, I’d be pretty stern about it. That said, it’s all about prep. The big parties I’ve been to have always been well stocked and had limits imposed. Fridge is a free for all, but *only* for the booze in cans, all the food is already on the table, stuff like that.
