It's more comments like this that make me mad. What exactly about that poster's comment did you feel was meant to troll? He makes a valid point - albeit, needlessly confrontationally - and you, what, attack his gender and chalk it up to sexism?
I'm not arguing for tokenism, I'd love to see the games you describe. The idea that the homogeneity we're seeing so far so something to do with "story" is pretty thin though. Most of these games are series of explosions tied together with dialog that a six year old wouldn't be proud of.
