It is clearly Adam Eaton’s fault because I still irrationally hate him for his fight with Yordano Ventura while he played for the White Sox, a team I irrationally hate because their fans tried to murder-stab Tom Gamboa.

I know I’m late to this but this is perfect.

I maintain that Whit Merrifield is a plus-plus baseball name.

That’s what you think is pitiful? Not that a grown man was going to pay for sex with a 12-year-old? That’s where your problem with this story is?

You take that back. Melky gives the best hugs.

I could agree with this if you were also arguing that they should spend what they’re currently not spending in free agency on the minor leagues and pre-arb players. I will never argue that the billionaire owners should pocket the money rather than give it to the talent on the field.

No one is ignoring that.

There have been opening day protests for at least 25 years if not longer, it should have been gone before the protests. I get what you’re saying but I will never understand what drives a person or organization to appease the lowest common denominator.

Phasing it out by having it prominently displayed on their uniforms? Also, why is a racist caricature something that needs “phased out”?

As a Royals fan, I’m sobbing incoherently in the corner. Even when you know it’s coming, it sucks. Good luck, Cain!

This is an excellent argument why the baseline for consent shouldn’t be “they didn’t say no” but “both parties said yes”

Why can’t men just operate under the guise that unless a woman is enthusiastically consenting, it’s not time to try to fuck her. I find it really hard to believe and incredibly insulting to the men I know this implication that they’re too stupid to understand that when a woman acts uncomfortable it’s because they’re

Rusty Kuntz will always get my stars.

They saw each other, duh.

My son is named, in part, after Hank Aaron. It’s ok to name your kid after a baseball player as long as it’s a good name to begin with. I mean I wouldn’t have gone with a Cheslor or anything, but Clayton is a good name.

I am offended at the idea of a man invading my space to such an extent that he’s breathing on me. That’s really creepy.

We appreciate you telling us what we’re all saying. Thank you so much, Leonard. This, by the way, would be considered mansplaining.

I’ve experienced this too. Even going as far to inform me that my use of tampons was going to render me infertile because they read an article that said that one time. I’ve also had male coworkers explain pregnancy and childbirth to me, everything from stretch marks to labor pains and how they should be dealt with.

As a Royals fan, I’d like to co-sign this.
