The funny thing is that the maga manly guys I know that are always armed are never near a city or city center, or an airport except for that occasional flight to get drunk in Mexico. They just constantly live in fear because they live in the ignorance of the small world they live in where everyone is just like them. 

Imagine being so fragile and scared of the world that you need to bring a gun with you everywhere to feel tough and safe.

No matter what you think of the truck or anyone who buys them, yelling profanities at him, giving the guy the finger and spitting on/scratching his property makes you as bad if not worse of a person.

To be fair, the Waymo didn’t go berserk with road-rage and run down the swarm of offending dorks riding their unlicensed and uninsured unicycles down the middle of the roadway... A human may very well have.

Well, given that the idiot was unable to stop in time for a stopped cruiser, despite a valliant last ditch throw-the-anchor effort of the ATV rider, it is reasonable to assume that he also would not have been able to successfully stop or evade pedestrians.

You watch the tape and that self-centered jackass is really booking down the path. If he struck a pedestrian from behind at that speed, that person would be at least as injured as jackass ended up but he wouldn’t be scathed much due to the ATV taking most of the impact.

Yeah, how could an All Terrain Vehicle circumvent obstacles placed on a path?

I am failing to see how the cop did not do *exactly* the right thing here. If moron was going too fast to stop in time to not hit a very plainly visible cop car, he was going too fast to not hit a pedestrian. Not like he came around a blind corner and there was the cop.

Two parties in the wrong you say?

A lot of ATV and dirt bikers illegally ride on hiking/biking singletrack trails in my area. And I hope every single one of these bastards suffer the same fate, whether it’s caused by cops or not.

If you were going too fast to avoid a stopped car, you were going too fast to avoid a pedestrian. I’m good with this one.
