I made another comment about how Whitey should have just reported a hit-n-run when Lewis drove away, but I forgot about Whitey getting his gun. I’m pretty sure Lewis was not in the process of hitting-n-running but rather running from a guy who just went to his car for his gun. I’m rolling out of that situation too. 

I believe it said he refused to give insurance information. But so what. Grab a pic of the license plate while he’s driving away then call the police to report hit-n-run. Easy as pie. Underinsured/uninsured motorist coverage comes on your insurance policy. Claim against that for the damages.

I was in fear of my life, so I followed the source of that fear that had just driven away from me...makes perfect sense.
