Well whatever you guys want to do, but we’re out. I doubt Iran wants a proxy war though. They’re pretty open about their intentions.

Money grab? LOL my friend, if Trump was looking for a money-grab he’d be continuing the multi-trillion dollar wars in Syria and Afghanistan. The Wall costs almost nothing by government standards. Who told you this?
You just made that up off the top of your head. Putin is allies with Assad because of their shared ownership in the natural gas pipelines that run under the country to Europe. He doesn’t want to “consume” Syria, whatever that’s supposed to mean. They are mutually-benefiting allies.
You have to understand that only Democrats care about shutdowns because shutdowns affect only Democrats. Once you understand this you will understand why all of this - especially Trump owning it - is a very good thing.
Getting funding for The Wall via normal govt funding routes would be preferred, but don’t forget that The Wall is going to be built by the Army Corps of Engineers as a National Defense Expense that is already more than funded. This was always the contingency as Trump knew the Dems would never hand him his signature…
First of all... explain to me what kind of “power” the United States needs in the Middle East. We are soon to be an oil exporter and we still have our Navy docked all over the world. Our supply chain can touch anywhere on the planet in short notice and that is unique. There is zero reason for an on-the-ground, active…
You’re apparently forgetting that Israel has the greatest military in the region and is willing to fight for good in our absence.
Why?
Harder to catch? You’re staff.
Ah, got it now.
Agreed. It started with 911... we have no reason to get involved in a multi-century conflict over some rocks. They can all duke it out over there. And should.
No, but go ahead and roast his ass. The guy supported Obama’s initiative to infuse transness into the military and he’s leaving because he feels we need an indefinite presence in the Middle East that costs trillions in addition to lives for which we get only scorn in return.
He’s also not a fan of using military assets…
There are neocons on both side my friend. This is why Trump was elected. It’s been nothing but a charade, and ostensible but entirely fake struggle between the left and the right, since 2001. Why do you think that ridiculous social issues that affect almost nobody are pushed to the forefront of public attention? …
The Left is now solidly in favor of wars of intervention. They are now in favor of indefinite military presence in the Middle East. Can you articulate why beyond “Orange Man Bad”???
Neocons Welcome
Iran will invade* Israel.
*or nuke
We do not owe Israel money and lives to protect and support their state. They can and should do it themselves. We do not owe them the toppling of their enemies. Have fun.
That’s because Paul Ryan is a lying weasel who can’t even lift bro. Listen... that guy staked his career on the debt and the deficit. Look where each is when he leaves, substantially worse. He accomplished nothing but gaining himself connections for a post-politics career by playing the cool hip sexy fit econ…
This is at once a complimentary theory and one I find very troubling. In any case it’s very long-standing.
That you can’t see the gameplan is how I know you’re voting for Beto.
