I really love the theatre jokes! And I'm neither a theatre nerd nor all that well-versed with Shakespeare. I'm pretty sure there remains many references that fly over my head. I felt like enough jokes were also poking fun at the culture and legend of Shakespeare that it worked for me.

The boyfriend finally got me to watch it after years of telling me it was one of his favourite movies.
