John Rhys-Davies was the voice of MacBeth!!! Accept no substitutes of JRD.

I love how Titania got Kate Mulgrew to bring out a wonderful, regal, slightly otherworldly quality version of her voice. Really great fit I would not have expected just having seen her work on Voyager.

Superstition can still exist in a magical world.

"they will go after fine art"

I'm still sad "BABIES TASTE BEST" hasn't become a meme.

I believe it. There are lots of stories of the criminal justice system failing stalking victims because it's low on police's priority list. How many people have told stories of break-ins and police barely bother?

Yeah, I had no problem not feeling for Morello. It was super creepy and disturbing what she did — that she got yelled at, however harsh, was almost the best she could have hoped for. She tried to MURDER this man's wife at one point, and then she BROKE INTO THEIR HOUSE and did creeeeeeeepy things. WE know she's back in

Yeah, that English declaration always kind of bugged me.

I see your point and totally agree — the artist/power dynamic is absolutely relevant.

I think it's more than just "teenage fandom" (although that's a huge part of it). It's part of a broader, sicker culture that is more likely to defend an offender than his victims.

You mean like TV? I don't think I've flipped on regular ol' cable in a long time.

Video games really benefit from video reviews rather than written ones. It's just the medium.

"Nobody is that much better at GTA or whatever."

Yep. This.

Ugh, sorry! I'm happy just deleting it. Thanks.

[deleted for a spoiler] Thanks.

Mendez didn't have to have sex with her. Yeah, she intended it in a way that wasn't returning his affections, but he's a guard. Whatever her intentions, it was never right for him to have relations with an inmate. Same for Bennett.

See? If anyone ruined SPR for my boyfriend, it was SPIELBERG.

I really love the theatre jokes! And I'm neither a theatre nerd nor all that well-versed with Shakespeare. I'm pretty sure there remains many references that fly over my head. I felt like enough jokes were also poking fun at the culture and legend of Shakespeare that it worked for me.

The boyfriend finally got me to watch it after years of telling me it was one of his favourite movies. Afterwards, I said the fact that Davies' character, the one who was OK with NOT shooting prisoners of war and letting a guy go, was proven wrong when that was the guy who brought the Germans down on them.
