I think what really intimidates me about sushi is that I feel I have to learn to like it. That is, when I eat really, really good sushi (as other people assure me), will I know and feel it myself? Is it really that much of a difference? I think my dad's Chinese fish dishes are pretty excellent … and yes, freshness

In the scene where Skylar comes home to the two new cars (I think), she had Holly's carrier in one hand, with Holly in it. Since Skylar (and Walt) own the car wash and she's mostly there in a supervisory capacity, I imagine she just takes Holly to work every day.

HALF MAGIC! So wonderful. I'm going to run off and read it again now.

I reread them yearly too. Daine is a bit of a painful Mary Sue to me now, but Alanna will never change.
