I think Carrie Coon is legally obligated to appear in every prestige TV drama at some point. She’ll get to that resort eventually.

My family has been calling her Amy Coney Barrett.  That wife is awful, she's as abused as everyone else but has fully drank the kool aid and seems to like her place.  I can't imagine she'll get a good fate.

Did you see the article yesterday here calling for a return to longer seasons? It seems to have been loved or hated, largely along generational lines.

Maybe in the finale, the S5 heroines are down for the count and Burgle flies in through the window to deliver the killing blow to Tillman? And as he dies, she asides “When you get to Hell, tell Varga I said hi.”

Funny? Goofy?I didn’t take any of it that way—she has a family to protect and had to do it with the best of her ability since a gun was not an option. She knew what she was up against, but also tried to keep some semblance of order for her innocent husband and kid. The whole time, serious, focused effort, with fear in

I don’t understand why this is even controversial. It’s an adaptation of something that already existed before Gerwig sat down to write it. She used several characters that previously existed she did not create. It’s an adaptation.

I quite liked this episode. I’m sure there’s a metapor in that debate somewhere, lol. Dave Foley’s slo mo walk away after the handiwork of his debacle, was chef’s kiss. Shame he bit the bullet. I never fully got a read on this guy, but he did seem to be smarter than to tell the man he knows is volatile “It was me!” A

I have loved this season so much. I am excited that I get to see it play out over the next two weeks and simultaneously wishing I could watch it for another two months.

It’s always fun, when something like the Epstein situation comes and goes, to think about the fact that there are other rich shitbags doing the same thing right now; we just haven’t learned about them yet.

Obviously there are no guarantees in ‘Fargo’, but I like the chances of Trooper Witt surviving. He strikes me as one of those thoroughly decent, determined characters that the show likes to see triumph.

My man Bruce! You already know I’m right there with you; Dorothy’s puppet show last week garnered zero sympathy from me for that scumbag. He’s somehow gotten even MORE insufferable with each passing episode! RIP Danish Graves. Not a smart move (especially for a lawyer) to not let Lorraine (or ANYONE) know that you

I hope that about half the next episode is Ole Munch torturing Gator to death, or better yet, a condition of constant excruciating pain while living another 60 years. Really, one of the most vile characters I have ever seen. I want to see Roy totally emasculated by Dorothy and Mama Lyon and Indira...hopefully both

Every scene with him and Sissy Spacek in In the Bedroom was an acting masterclass on the screen. Still think that’s one of the best movies of the 2000s.

It’s really shocking that this famous person is polite to that other famous person.

It’s not just that he’s proselytising it, he’s been the de facto number 2 after Miscavige. He’s not just aware of the abuse, harassment, blackmail and borderline slavery of lower ranking Sea Org members, he’s responsible.

I think it’s also fair to consider how he may or may not treat people he sees as “on his level” (e.g. costars) differently from those “beneath him” (e.g. low-level scientologists)

With the exception of his early year pre-Scientology years, where he was reportedly a bullying homophobe on-set, everybody who has worked with Tom Cruise has described him as friendly, kind, and professional. On a working level, Tom Cruise is a “good guy”.

I liked the puppet show and thought it was a creative way to tell Dot’s backstory. Seeing that really set up the giant pit of nausea in my stomach at the end when Roy showed up in the hospital. Is the dream sequence a little overdone at this point? Sure. But it worked here.

So glad to see McAdams on the list. She was a surprisingly strong and relatable addition to the “Margaret” film. While the entire film was impressive, she made it grounded and ‘real’. Kudos to her!

Seeing the abuse pics of Dot was a turning point for her.
