There’s no competition ,its the Prestige.

The Prestige

Honest question (I’ve not followed this story closely): is Ellen really a terrible tyrant, of just a chief executive who doesn’t know or care how her employees live (like 80% of all chief executives)?

All right, I am willing to pay the cost of a movie ticket to never hear about Justice League again.

I started watching the original BH 90201 during quarantine and it hilarious the ages they claim the main cast is. Gabrielle Carteris is the the worst of the bunch.  She is a pretty lady but she looks 29 not 16.  What is crazy is she is only 6 years younger then James Eckhouse(aka Daddy Walsh)

These numbers are kind of meaningless without a pre-pandemic comparison. Just like everything else, there are a few people who really care about how something is presented, and a very large number of people perfectly content to watch it on their phones.

Lucky for me I have a 100 foot wide screen, an a Norelco DP 70 project with platter system, so I can watch 70mm films from the comfort of home.

No way would I want to VOD something like Tenet. Theater or Blu-Ray.

Jacki is absolutely amazing. I’m so glad she’s seen so much success in the past 10 years. She’s just incredible.

I hope this show doesn’t get cancelled, simply so we can all have the pleasure of watching her eat crow in front of a national audience when the new season starts.

When the heist starts and gets going it’s a total adrenaline shot that’s surprising.

Widows was so damn good but so few people I know have seen it

Oh, I think celebrity can still sway kids’ thinking.  Just not that one, in this instance.

She was awesome (the “oops” moment especially) and, as much as I love Elfman’s lush, melodramatic Catwoman theme, Zimmer’s tinkling piano motif is great as well.

Bane vs Batman was pretty impressive - Bruce just going pure feral against Bane and getting more frustrated and desperate as he shrugs each blow and tactic off.

Begins for me, every time. It’s a more naturalistic take on Batman while still remembering that Batman, well, is still Batman, and is still allowed to be a little bit fun and goofy and (you know what I’m going there) a little bit silly. The Dark Knight is a good movie and may be the best “movie” movie, but it’s been

Although Pfieffer will always be my catwoman standard, Hatheaway gave a really fucking fun performance in the third movie and was the best part of that film.

I could shit out some AP Bio or 30 Rock reference here but I just wanna say that Paula Pell seems like an absolutely delightful person and I really dig seeing her pop up in stuff. I ain’t gonna sign up for Quibi but I’ll watch these when they hit YouTube in a year or two.

1917... the Sam Mendes film?
