I’ve learned all my accents from 30 Rock. This is how I think a South African accent sounds:

As someone who works in healthcare, these are two words that definitely make my blood boil, so I’m glad to see it brought up as a reason to dislike JT (and his wife for lobbying with a known anti-vaxxer).

I can only surmise that Tim Apple gave him this latest role as an additional favor for doing those iPhone commercials with his also annoying buddy, Jimmy Fallon, all those years ago.

His last album didn’t get critical acclaim, which gave me a feeling of schadenfreude. Now, if only people would stop putting him in movies and making him think he has an acting career.

Glad to see this sentiment. Another reason I’ve disliked him is for his role in the backlash Janet Jackson got for the Super Bowl incident. She took pretty much all the blame and he basically skated away freely.

I enjoy being smug about Arrival, too. Whenever Amy gets snubbed for something, it makes me happy that people will circle back to her Arrival performance as an example of her being robbed.

Arrival was so damn good in every aspect, and Amy’s performance and all the awards she and the film didn’t win were and will always be a shame to me. If she somehow pulls a win off this year with that competition, then I can accept that it means she’s loved and respected by her peers, but I’ll not accept it as a

I love Amy Adams, but her nomination for Hillbilly Elegy gets a big no from me. If only people had just awarded her for her actual strong, well-done roles in the past (cough Arrival cough), this wouldn’t feel so embarrassing.

Carey’s interviews are also always a joy to listen to/read/watch in addition to her performances. I’d love to see her do a fun comedy role some day; I’m sure she’d be great at it.

I should have clarified to mean films since the Avengers concluded. I’m guessing maybe they want to attract all the fans of the actors who play Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man to their post-Marvel endeavors.

They also have The Gray Man on the table too.

Honest question, are the Russos capable of making a non-Marvel film without casting anyone from their Marvel films?

I’m curious at what point was Nicholas Winding Refn in consideration for WW; before or after they had somewhat of a script. I’ve read that he said he turned WW down, but who knows when. Drive was great, but his two follow-ups to that were forgettable, so I wonder what he might have done with WW having never done a big

Even with ample free time and not much going on in my life due to the pandemic, four hours still seems like a big commitment for me so I’ll just check in with the AVC comments for entertainment.

If SS vs JL is already happening in video game form, then maybe DCEU will try to make it Brainiac+Darkseid+Doomsday+Joker+Penguin+etc vs JL. And SS will team up with JL to stop the mish mash of bad guys.

It’s his mother’s name, dammit! (I added the end for dramatics. Amy Adams is one of my favorite actors and watching that scene makes me feel second-hand embarrassment for her having to be a part of that).

Girl with a bat or guy with a gun might have a trick up their sleeve akin to Superman almost being killed by Batman but being saved by uttering the word “Martha.”

Hope you’ve saved this in case actual real WB uses parts or all of it. How soon before we get this SS v JL (which is probably what DCEU hopes will be its Infinity War/Endgame equivalent)? Admittedly, I actually like Margot Robbie as an actress and producer so I’d like to see the new SS have success for her sake.

I can relate to the first part; now is probably the time to admit that I’ve never watched Justice League and my knowledge of what happens in the movie is through reading the wiki summary.

Four hours is definitely too long, so if I watch it at all, it won’t be that much of it and I’ll probably be in the group that Chimichanga mentioned above who is hate-watching.
