Perhaps this is Bulochnikov’s way of revitalizing Carey’s career to be more relevant in these salacious times of lowered standards

He is/was the best part of that show!

ive watched it so many times :( i love it so much

Same! I was not a Dawson’s Creek fan (I’m not sure I’ve ever even seen more than 5 minutes of the show), but I loved his James Van Der Beek persona on Apt 23. And I miss him and Luther together. They were comedy gold.

Uhm hot damn JVDB is getting sexier with age!!!!!!

I just finished rewatching that series yesterday. I’ve probably watched the whole thing all the way through about 5 times now. And I can’t find anything that’s similar enough to keep me laughing 😞

I’m watching the hell out of this. I’ve missed him so much since Dont Trust the B**** in Apt 23 was canceled.

If The Beek is half as charming as he was on Bitch in Apartment 23, I will give this a whirl.

How would you describe Billy Bush?

Yep. If this had been a crowd of white teenagers, 100% guaranteed that two cops would have rolled up with one cruiser, calmly walked to the teens and been like, “hey y’all, whatcha doing? ...OK, well let’s keep it down....”

Nope. White kids when have been told to scram or keep it down/calm. I know because I have been at a few house parties that were broken up by cops and they only gave us a good natured hard time even though it was obvious there was underage drinking, etc. No arrests or anything.

Frankly, she’s lucky to have escaped with her life.

Trump voters. They can convince themselves of absolutely anything so long as “those people” are on the other side of the argument

Huh. I’m a middle-class white guy who hangs out with other middle-class white people, and it’s obvious that race and class affords us a measure of professionalism that is not given to others.

I had cops hitting on me when I was a teenager in trouble. I have a friend (actually my BIL’s) who’s a cop and even he’s kind of a... You can tell what he does for a living. I have so many stories of cops behaving in a creepy and illegal and immoral manner. I wish they were held to the same standards as citizens.

When this story dropped, my grandmother told me it reminded her of “colored day” at certain parks and even stores. (We’re from Dallas.) There were other places that wouldn’t allow blacks to shop there - for any reason - unless they were in maid uniforms. Swimming pools? Yeah, right. Her parents were arrested at a park

They were looking to rough up and arrest black kids.

Just an angry, scared little man with a gun.

“McKinney prides itself in cultivating the highest standards of training and professionalism for our officers, and it strongly believes that its standards and training will withstand legal challenge.”

If I were on the jury, I’d award her ten million after watching the video. There was zero professionalism there. Just an angry, scared little man with a gun.
