I dunno. I would argue both sides are obsessing. I could say all the females and SJWs rating this high without having seen the movie yet are also obsessing. Just reading on comments on this site, there are plenty of people being accused of sexism just because they don’t like reboots, myself included.

There’s more to the issue than that. Many people don’t like that this is a reboot. The writers basically said the original movie never happened and THIS is the official Ghostbusters universe. That’s what people mean by ‘ruining their childhood’. Naturally, SJWs and the left are labeling everyone who isn’t kissing ass…

Are you kidding? People hate the transformers movies. They hate Michael Bay. They freak out about them whenever a new one is announced. There is far more hate for Transformers than Ghostbusters.

WAY too much political correctness. I don’t know how old your wife is or when said events happened, but Suicide Squad has been around for nearly 30 years. Suicide Squad is the proper way to describe the group. They are being sent on nearly impossible missions that should likely result in their death.

It’s basically the same plot as A Bug’s Life. Except the circus bugs don’t preemptively murder any grasshoppers.
